Had a lot of fun getting into the vibes of the fall season with these vegan leather journals. Each are hand bound with waxed linen thread and filled with text weight paper. The inspiration for the collection came from the decorative elements of sugar skulls (recently having had watched "coco"), the linear elements within butterfly wings that replicate the feeling of a skeletal structure, and the candy-like decorative mandala that was henna'd onto my hand at the time by my friend Margaret. Full credit to her for the floral design on that one, but it was just too beautiful to not capture on something more permanent than henna!
